SWISS SCREW MACHINING

Swiss Screw Machining is based on an automated turning machine that continuously creates a number of finished parts from bar stock. Bar stock advances through the spindle and is held by a collet. It is also commonly called a bar machine. Swiss Screw Machining is a modified automated turret lathe distinguished by a sliding headstock and fixed bushing. Swiss-type machines are capable of creating very small and complex parts with excellent tolerances.

CNC PRECISION TURNING AND GRINDING

CNC Precision Turning and Grinding consists of various machining operations used to fabricate cylindrical parts. A cutting tool passes along the outer surface of a cylindrical workpiece as it rotates and gradually removes a layer of material. The part is rotated and a cutting tool is traversed along a specific axis of motion to produce precise diameters and depths. CNC turning can be either on the outside of the cylinder or on the inside (also known as boring) to produce tubular components to various geometries.

5 AXIS CNC MACHINING

Five Axis CNC Machining refers to the ability of the CNC machine to perform movement about five different axes simultaneously. The benefits of the five axis machining is its ability to machine complex shapes in a single setup thus reducing set up time, increasing accuracy, reduction of potential errors and increased production rates.

Advantages

Our design team can help you spot any difficult-to-machine features before your design is sent to the manufacturing floor to save you from costly mistakes, reworks and precious time during the product development cycle.

Once you upload your 3D CAD file to request a quote, we’ll analyze your part geometry to identify any features that may be difficult to machine such as thin walls or holes and other unique part features that may limit overall part quality and functionality.

We stock a variety of engineering-grade plastic and metal materials that can be suitable for various part applications and industries. Materials range from plastics like polycarbonate, nylon, ABS and PEEK to aluminum, stainless steel, magnesium, and copper.

We help you procure CNC parts on demand, without minimum order quantities (MOQs), helping you manage market or demand volatility, eliminating massive production forecasts and providing a second source for bridge production, line-down emergencies, end of product life, or product customization.

We’ll work with you throughout the course of your project to help you quickly move from prototyping to production, including finishing options for complete end-use parts.
